Jolanta Bula, LL.B, B.A. (Hons.) J.D.
Founder, Lawyer
Jolanta graduated from law school in Poland in 1986 from the Silesian University with a Master's Degree, and came to Canada in 1986. She graduated from Saskatchewan University's Law School in 1995 and opened her sole practice in 1998, shortly after completing articling with Sullivan Mahoney.
When away from her desk, Jolanta loves to experiment in the kitchen, spend time with her family, and discover new hiking trails in Niagara with her Weimaraner, Khaleesi.

Alexandra Bula, B.A. (Hons.), J.D.
Lawyer - Family Law, Civil Litigation, Criminal Law
Alexandra practices general litigation with a focus in family law, civil litigation, and criminal law. Her practice is fueled by her passion for courtroom advocacy. Fluent in Polish and French, Alexandra is proud to offer services to a broad clientele across the region.
Alexandra obtained an undergraduate degree in Medical Sciences from Brock University. She then obtained her law degree at the Bora Laskin Faculty of Law in snowy Thunder Bay, ON. While in law school, she focused on sharpening her advocacy skills, participating in the Wilson Moot and the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association Moot, where she earned the award for Best Cross Examination.

While in northern Ontario, Alexandra dedicated her time to learning about the unique issues faced by northern communities. She volunteered at Kinna-Aweya Legal Clinic and proudly served as the Director of Legal Services for Compass North Clinic. ​​​​​​​​

Julia Brogno, B.A. (Hons.), J.D.
Articling Student - Family Law
Julia graduated in 2020 from the University of Ottawa with an Honours Bachelor of Social Sciences in Conflict Studies and Human Rights. She then took her legal studies abroad, earning her Juris Doctor from Griffith University in Queensland, Australia, with a focus on Canadian law.
Throughout her law degree, Julia was the Vice President of Wellness and Diversity for the Griffith Canadian Law Students’ Association and actively competed in client interview, negotiation, and mooting competitions. During her time in Australia, she volunteered at the Gold Coast Community Legal Centre and Advice Bureau, assisting clients with family law, domestic violence, and elder abuse matters, and regularly attended the Southport Domestic and Family Violence Court alongside duty counsel.
Julia graduated with her Juris Doctor in December 2024. After returning to Canada, she completed the National Committee on Accreditation (NCA) process and gained practical experience working as a family law clerk with Jolanta Bula. Through this experience, she developed a strong passion for family law and for assisting individuals and families through challenging and often emotionally complex circumstances. She is currently an articling student at Jolanta Bula and Associates and is in the process of becoming a licensed lawyer.

Christina Vamvakaris, B.A. (Hons.)
Law Clerk - Family Law

Christina is a proud class of 2024 graduate from Wilfrid Laurier University. She graduated with an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Criminology and a Minor in Leadership. While at Laurier, Christina had the opportunity to study concepts of crime seasonality and spatial criminology. Along with her advisor, Christina has been published in the Journal of Criminal Justice for her research on crime seasonality and rates of assault on a downtown university campus. ​
In her spare time, Christina can be found beside the nearest body of water with a book and her dog, Sunny.

Jacqualine Teixeira
Legal Assistant - Wills
Originally from Montreal, Jacqualine comes from a diverse and multicultural background where her love for hockey first took root—Go Habs!
Jacqualine has lived across Canada, from the mountains of British Columbia to Nova Scotia’s South Shore, as well as in Los Angeles. Her time in Los Angeles included working alongside youths training to become professional boxers and kickboxers.
Upon returning to Canada, she founded SOS, a charitable organization dedicated to providing food and clothing to individuals experiencing homelessness, with a particular focus on those affected by substance abuse and mental health challenges. Guided by her belief that collective compassion can create meaningful change, Jacqualine lives by the principle that the world becomes a better place when everyone contributes to helping others.
An adventurous spirit at heart, Jacqualine believes life is meant to be lived to the fullest. Embodying this philosophy, she purchased her first Harley-Davidson motorcycle at the age of 61—a testament to her courage, independence, and zest for life.
Jacqualine’s motto is to “live life to the fullest, always wear a smile, and be kind”.

Colleen brings 24 years of experience to the accounting department.
She works with for profits, not for profits, & charities.
In her spare time she likes to spend time with her family & especially her grandchildren. She likes to curl up with a good book.​​​​​​​​
